About Strawberry Bear

Strawberry Bear, LLC is a small consulting business in New York, NY. Strawberry Bear is the scheduling assistant it operates: software that keeps appointments straight over text on behalf of the business and the people it meets with.

  • Who sends the messages. Strawberry Bear, LLC, from its own business number, (956) 403-6512.
  • Who receives them. Individuals who have given their phone number to Strawberry Bear and agreed to receive scheduling messages — in practice, someone arranging or holding a meeting with the business. Numbers are never purchased, scraped, rented, or sourced from a list, and messages are never sent to anyone who has not personally agreed.
  • Why they are sent. To confirm a meeting time, check availability, send a reminder, or reschedule — conversational, one recipient at a time. There are no marketing, promotional, or bulk messages of any kind.
  • How often. Low volume, and only as needed to coordinate a meeting. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Support. support@strawberrybear.life

How consent is collected

There are exactly two ways someone comes to receive messages from Strawberry Bear. Both are described here in full, and both are recorded.

1. Web opt-in

At https://strawberrybear.life/#optin — the form at the top of this page.

  1. The visitor enters their own mobile number.
  2. The visitor ticks the consent box, which is unticked by default and is not required to submit the form. The exact wording next to it is the disclosure quoted in the box below.
  3. The visitor presses Submit.
  4. A confirmation page says the number has been recorded and that replying STOP to any message ends them. If the box was left unticked, the page says instead that nothing has been recorded and no messages will be sent.

Each consent is stored with the date and time, the phone number, the verbatim wording that was on screen, and the submitting IP address and browser user-agent. That record is the proof of opt-in for that number.

I agree to receive SMS text messages from Strawberry Bear, LLC at the phone number provided, for scheduling and coordination (meeting confirmations, availability checks, reminders, and rescheduling). Message frequency varies and is low. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. See our Privacy Policy at strawberrybear.life/privacy and Terms of Service at strawberrybear.life/terms.

2. Verbal opt-in, by phone or in person

When someone gives their number while arranging a meeting, consent is asked for out loud, in these words:

Strawberry Bear: “As part of coordinating this meeting, Strawberry Bear, LLC can send you automated text messages about your appointment — confirming a time, checking your availability, reminders, and rescheduling. Message frequency varies and is low, and message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. You can reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help, and our privacy policy and terms are on our website at strawberrybear.life/privacy and strawberrybear.life/terms. This is optional — we can keep coordinating by email instead. Do you agree to receive automated scheduling text messages from Strawberry Bear at this number?”

Customer: “Yes, I do.”

Strawberry Bear: “Thank you. I’ve noted your consent today, along with the number. You can reply STOP to any message and they will stop.”

Anything other than a clear “yes” is a no, and the number is not enrolled. Each verbal consent is recorded with the date, the number, and the wording above.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and nothing after that. Reply HELP for support information, or write to support@strawberrybear.life.

What the messages look like

Every message names Strawberry Bear and tells you how to stop:

  • Strawberry Bear: Hi Dana — confirming your meeting with Isaac tomorrow (Thu Aug 6) at 10:00 AM ET. Reply Y to confirm or suggest another time. Reply STOP to opt out.
  • Strawberry Bear: Are you free Tuesday at 2:00 PM ET or Wednesday at 11:00 AM ET? Reply with whichever works. Reply STOP to opt out.
  • Strawberry Bear: Reminder — your 3:00 PM ET call with Isaac is today. Reply STOP to opt out.

And the two keyword replies:

  • STOP → You have been unsubscribed from Strawberry Bear messages and will receive no further messages at this number. Reply START to resubscribe.
  • HELP → Strawberry Bear scheduling assistant. Support: support@strawberrybear.life or (956) 403-6512. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.

A conversation runs both ways: you can answer in your own words — “Yes, 10am works” — and the assistant will read it.
